The Fill family keeps on growing

800th employee welcomed to the company. Twenty-one apprentices began their professional careers in September.
 
What a great first day at Fill! Stefan Gadermaier was welcomed with a little surprise when he joined Fill as the company´s 800th employee on 27 August 2018. Stefan will strengthen the machining technology team. In his new post, Stefan will be responsible for the piece production of highly complex machine engineering components. Twenty-one motivated girls and boys also started their careers at the internationally active machine engineering company in the Upper Austrian town of Gurten this September.
 
Gurten, 13th September 2018 Stefan Gadermaier was welcomed on board with a special cake by Andreas and Bettina Fill, CEO Wolfgang Rathner, Günter Redhammer (Component Manufacturing Team Leader), and Kathrin Schrems (Human Resources). "We are very pleased to have acquired such an adept and experienced employee. The role of machining technician calls for a high level of commitment and specialist expertise. Stefan Gadermaier is ideally equipped for this extremely demanding job," CEOs Andreas Fill and Wolfgang Rathner emphasized upon welcoming him to the company.
 
21 new apprentices
The training of young, dedicated people has always been an important part of Fill´s personnel policy. They are the specialists of tomorrow. The company has an apprentice workshop equipped with the very latest technology and highly professional trainers. Many of today´s top executives began their careers as apprentices at the company. Twenty-one motivated young employees were welcomed to the machine engineering company in September. The five girls and 16 boys will acquire qualifications in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, production engineering, machining technology, and design. One of the young employees will complete his training within the framework of the newly created "Duale Akademie". This is aimed at young people who have gained their "AHS Matura" (higher school certificate from an academic secondary school) and are looking to start a job with an exciting training program. A maximum of 40 training places of this type are available in Upper Austria. "We wish our new skilled professionals of tomorrow a successful and interesting time at Fill, and we look forward to a good working relationship with them," said HR Manager Kathrin Schrems at the welcoming event.
