The 100th saw module goes to Japan  Wet cutting boosts bandsaw sales at Fill Machine Engineering. The one hundredth bandsaw module "Made by Fill" has been delivered to Japanese company Karimoku. The new generation of Fill speedliner hybrid bandsaws makes it possible. The lamellae are cut from wet timber, making their production significantly more economical. Gurten, 25 November 2014 –  The issue of wet cutting is increasing bandsaw sales appreciably at Fill Machine Engineering. The reason for this is the new generation of speedliner hybrid bandsaws. It facilitates significantly more economical production of lamellae by cutting them from wet wood. Wet cutting saves time, energy, and drying chamber capacity. It results in a massive increase in productivity and wood yield from solid timber processing. A competitive advantage that more and more companies are utilizing. One hundredth module to Japan With Fill´s representative in Japan, DKSH Japan K.K., acting as a mediator, Japanese company Karimoku, one of the country´s leading solid timber processor´s, ordered the one hundredth "anniversary bandsaw module". Successful preliminary acceptance by a delegation from Karimoku and DKSH took place at the beginning of September at the Fill plant in Gurten, Upper Austria.
