The super-cool robot from planet netruG is never far away when children need help. An industrial company´s unusual means of communication is making a big impact.
Filli Future is active internationally and has already been around the world several times. To the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and to the depths of the ocean with stingrays and sharks in the Maldives. The adventurous robot is always there for children in need, whether it be Peru, Ghana, Cambodia or anywhere else in the world. But he´d also like to awaken kids´ interest in technology. The mascot was ´created´ by Fill Machine Engineering in Upper Austria. With this unusual communication strategy, the globally successful company is touching the hearts of children, while spreading its enthusiasm for technology.
Gurten, 07 September 2015 –"The idea of creating a mascot for our company as a fun way to introduce children to technology had been in the back of our minds for some time. With Filli Future, this has turned into a real success story," says a delighted Bettina Fill, who manages the employee program at Fill Machine engineering in Gurten. Under the name "Fill your Family", numerous family-friendly projects have been initiated in this machine engineering company, which employs more than 650 staff. In the form of Filli Future, the super-cool robot from planet netruG, a new children´s superstar has been born.
Exciting technology for kids
Numerous projects have been successfully conducted over the past few years, from painting competitions in collaboration with schools and kindergartens, to film projects, puzzles and stories focusing on the feisty robot, through to the Filli Future Foundation. "Many of our employees take the mascot with them on vacation or business trips and send us photos from all over the world. Filli Future has already visited the Maldives and the summit of Kilimanjaro. These pictures are then published on the Filli Future Facebook page www.facebook.com/FilliFuture?fref=ts and the FILL website. The kids love it," says Bettina Fill. The Filli Future Foundation supports social projects for children in need, including in Peru, Ghana, Ecuador, Ukraine, and Cambodia.
Planet Filli Future
Next year, a large area containing everything a child could wish for will be built at Fill´s Headquarters in Gurten as part of the expansion program. It will be called "Planet Filli Future". Starting in summer 2016, professional child care will be offered for the first time here, for children up to the age of 12, with the aim of helping parents harmonize their work and family lives. With the Filli Future project, Fill Machine Engineering is once again demonstrating its willingness to innovate outside its core business as well – much to the delight of the constantly growing band of young Filli Future fans.
