FILL SETS NEW STANDARDS IN MACHINING TECHNOLOGY

Fill sets new standards in machining technology
Fill Maschinenbau presented the latest generation of syncromill machining systems at the "Metal Machining Days 2012”.

With the new generation of "syncromill" machining centers, Fill Maschinenbau generated much enthusiasm at the company headquarters in Gurten from 14 to 16 May 2012. During the "Fill Metal Machining Days 2012", the visitors were able to witness for themselves the precision and performance live. The multi-functional machining systems define a new standard in machining technology, both as a stand-alone machine and as a fully automated production line. Maximum cost efficiency paired with the highest precision.

Gurten, 25 May 2012 – The latest solutions in machining technology were able to be experienced live over an area of 1200 m2 at the "Fill Metal Machining Days 2012" from 14 to 16 May 2012 . Fill presented the whole production process from a single source, including simulation, lifecycle cost calculation and quality control. Alongside the latest machining technology of the machines and systems on display, the focus was on the innovative strength of the Upper Austrian company. "We invest around six percent of our turnover in the development of new products. In our Research & Development departments, we are working on the solutions of the future," said CEO Andreas Fill, explaining the innovative orientation of the company.

Smart & Powerful
syncromill X represents a unique, very cost-effective and innovative machine concept. Two opposing dual-spindle units facilitate the machining of plane-parallel components, synchronously from two sides with different tools. Cost-effectiveness, process reliability, and efficiency are the most important success criteria for the Fill syncromill C machining center. Thanks to a dual-spindle principle, 5-axis machining operations can be performed extremely economically with intelligent clamping concepts. Whether for composite material, aluminum, steel or other materials, the Fill syncromill P portal machining center is simply the best solution when power, dynamics, and precision need to be harmonized. Large-volume components can be machined in conjunction with intelligent clamping concepts. The Fill syncromill R machining center performs various machining operations on workpieces in a single clamping operation. This system is particularly suited to parts in high quantities. Exceptionally short production times are possible as a result of the simultaneous processing. High-performance, stable, dynamic, and flexible are the words that best describe the Fill  syncromill F machining center. The benefits of this system can be particularly exploited with materials that are difficult to machine. In its role as general contractor, Fill assumes responsibility for the customer´s production engineering - from the rough casting to the machined, cleaned, tested, and assembled finished part.
