Spectacular in form and function

syncromill c, syncromill f and powerbridge. Triple world premiere from Fill causes quite a stir at international trade fair in Hanover.

With approx. 1,000 m2 of floor space, Fill´s exhibition stand with partner SHW Werkzeugmaschinen was a major stage for innovation and design at the EMO from 16 to 21 September. The two high-performance machines, syncromill c and syncromill f, plus the "shw powerbridge – powered by fill" caused a real buzz both technically and visually. The highly efficient syncromill machining centers impress with their versatility. The application range extends from individually adapted standalone machines to fully automated production systems. The fact that they also set new standards in terms of design impressed many exhibition visitors deeply.

Hanover/Gurten, 30 September 2013 With the innovative syncromill c and syncromill f, plus the mighty powerbridge, the Upper Austrian company provided three of the highlights at the international showcase exhibition. Representatives of renowned companies in the automotive industry expressed great interest in the new high-performance machining systems "made by Fill".

Flexible and versatile
Crankcases, cylinder heads, camshaft carriers, steering columns, and chassis components are manufactured on the syncromill c. The flexible machine concept allows the widest variety of machining tasks to be performed. syncromill c is the specialist in space-saving, cost-effective production of complex components with the highest precision. The benefits of syncromill f are brought fully to bear primarily in the case of high cutting output. Components are machined with a compact, multi-spindle unit. The tool magazine positioned above the processing unit enables tool loading during machining operation.

Pushing the boundaries in terms of size and quality
A special highlight at EMO 2013 was the powerbridge, the innovative machining center for industrial production of large components, which was presented to the public for the first time. Developed by Fill in cooperation with partner SHW Werkzeugmaschinen , the "shw powerbridge – powered by fill" produces extremely large components with enormous precision. Both turning and milling tasks can be performed. An onboard control station, synchronous tool changes, automatic milling head replacement, and liquid-cooled drives are but a few of the features of the mighty portal machining system.
